Planning approval to build up to 250 homes, football pitches and associated building to house changing facilities and a sports facility located within green belt was approved in late 2015.

Urban Green was appointed to prepare a masterplan and LVA for a detailed planning application.


The scheme will see a mix of family homes built on the 7 hectare on playing fields site, while four new sports pitches and associated changing and parking facilities will be created on a second five-hectare site 100m away.

An existing children’s play area on will be significantly extended and improved and a 20m odour buffer zone installed next to the nearby abattoir.
